PediaOne enables organizations to create and manage their own digital environments through dedicated accounts, portals, URLs and platform tools.

PediaOne provides technology infrastructure only.

PediaOne does not own, operate, administer, supervise or control the educational institutions, learning centres, academies, tutoring businesses or organizations that use the platform.

 

3. INDEPENDENT INSTITUTION MODEL

Organizations using PediaOne operate independently.

Each institution is solely responsible for:

  • its operations;

  • its users;

  • its tutors and staff;

  • its students;

  • its educational activities;

  • its content;

  • its communications;

  • its records;

  • its compliance obligations.

PediaOne does not participate in the day-to-day administration or management of institutions using the platform.

 

4. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

PediaOne seeks to collect only information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain and support the Services.

Information we may collect includes:

Account Information

Such information is uploaded at the direction of the institution or account holder.

PediaOne does not independently determine:

  • what information institutions upload;

  • why institutions upload information;

  • how institutions use information;

  • who institutions grant access to information.

Institutions remain responsible for information they choose to upload and manage through the Services.

 

6. RESPONSIBILITIES OF INSTITUTIONS

Each institution using the Services is solely responsible for:

  • obtaining any required consents;

  • complying with applicable privacy laws;

  • complying with applicable education laws;

  • ensuring lawful collection and use of information;

  • maintaining the accuracy of information;

  • determining who has access to information;

  • managing its own users and records.

PediaOne does not provide legal compliance services and institutions remain responsible for meeting their own legal obligations.

 

7. TUTORS, TEACHERS, STUDENTS AND USERS

Tutors, teachers, instructors, students and other users appearing within an institution’s account are added, managed and controlled solely by that institution.

PediaOne does not:

  • recruit tutors;

  • employ tutors;

  • supervise tutors;

  • manage tutors;

  • evaluate tutors;

  • employ teachers;

  • manage students;

  • administer educational programs.

Any educational, contractual, employment or service relationship exists solely between the relevant institution and the relevant individual.

 

8. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

PediaOne may use information we collect to:

  • provide the Services;

  • create and maintain accounts;

  • authenticate users;

  • improve platform performance;

  • provide customer support;

  • maintain platform security;

  • prevent fraud and abuse;

9. PLATFORM CONTENT

Users and institutions remain responsible for content uploaded to the platform.

PediaOne does not routinely review, verify or validate all content uploaded by users.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, institutions and users are responsible for ensuring that information uploaded to the Services:

  • is lawful;

  • is accurate;

  • complies with applicable regulations;

  • does not infringe third-party rights.

 

10. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

PediaOne does not sell personal information.

Institutions remain responsible for their own compliance obligations regarding information they collect, upload and process through the platform.

 

19. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

PediaOne may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Updated versions will be posted on our website and become effective upon publication.

Continued use of the Services after publication constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
